Josephine Moran married Martin J Shields and had 6 children (as well as 4 failed pregnancies including twins). Thomas       1910 Dorothy      1913 James          1916? Martin Jr.    1918 Helen           1923 Mary            1927  After her last child Mary she became mentally unstable and was placed in a sanatorium in Poughkeepsie, NY , where she lived out the rest of her life. She didn't recognize any of her children although her oldest daughter  Dorothy would visit her.
