Obsidian Dome
There are three lava flows in the immediate area. Obsidian Dome is just a jumble of volcanic rocks like the other two but has many large obsidian deposits.

Had planned on spending some time with Mike & his father at Silver Lake Campground  but I had the creeping crud and didn't want to infect an 86 year old man.

Mono Lake South Tufa
Mono Lake is lower than I have seen it in years and with this light snow past winter it isn't going to improve much.
