| Hodel (Secretary of the Interior) at one time proposed draining Hetch Hetchy because it was rumored to compare favorably to Yosemite Valley in awe and wonder. Even with the reservoir there it is still an impressive display of grandeur. San Francisco stopped that idea as it is their water supply. | |
