Why waste a dead tree? Bill's house was filled with his son's art which he was rightly proud of

A PT Cruiser became a Prius and finally a Mini Cooper (Bill Jr. inheriting the older car each time)
Bill was an avid astronomer with his own telescope in the dinning room next to the deck. He often posted astronomy links on Facebook) He was also a very good chess player (Whooped my ass easy enough which isn't saying much with my short attention span) He was a good drummer and his musical abilities passed down to his son. Having served in the Air Force during Viet Nam he remained a strong supporter of  warriors due respect and  rights. Bill worked a career at GE Silicone in Waterford (Which became Momentive Performance Materials in 2006). One of his collateral duties he was always proud of was EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)

I met Bill around 1967 working in the Cafeteria at St Peter's Hospital in Albany New York. Both our mothers also worked at the hospital, we were just high school kids. I remember going to a road production of the musical Hair at the Palace Theater on lower Clinton Avenue with Bill an his mother. I spent considerable time at his house in Rennselear with his large family. He went into the Air Force before I went into the Navy. After my tour in the Navy I settled in California and lost touch with Bill. Twenty five years latter he contacted my parents in Delmar and we re-establish an old friendship. I would spent time at his home on Lape Road in Nassau when I was in the area. Bill promised himself after his divorce he would have a sports car and a motorcycle, which he did. He loaned me the sports car when I needed wheels in the Albany area and I was on the back of his bike in Tucson.
