The books are normally behind closed doors to keep the burros from eating them.	Lizard Lees area includes solar arrays, satellite TV, HAM radio and swamp coolers. Heard he was a park service employee now
Palm Spring Camp
Palm Spring which feeds two nearby tubs areas	North of the two tubs fed by Palm Spring (Noticeably cooler than the more popular south tub)
The Bat Pole where the closed south spur meets the main road to the warm springs.	Someone has added a large peace sign on the basalt hill since I was there last
The twins?	Window was rolled down but they didn't put their heads in the car
Sand Dunes
Not nearly as impressive as the Eureka Sand Dunes in the next valley to the east which are the highest in California. Saline's dunes are even lower than the Panamint Sand Dunes which are in the next valley south. We easily climbed the highest from the road. They are now designated a wilderness area and the road that skirted them on the south is now closed. The last time I was on them they were inhabited by caterpillars but not this time.
