Having a bad memory and no pictures from June I don't believe I did much of anything so I'll post something I have done previously.
Geo-stashes
Actually the gold is worth more than the platinum. The $5 gold piece is worth $122.65 in gold content, while $10 platinum piece is worth $83.23 in platinum content on 10/19/18
The coins are in two different quart sized mason jars at two different sites. Each jar include about $100 in quarters and they are buried about a foot deep in quaternary alluvium. The jars also include my business card and a electronic copy of my web site at the time of burial. The quarters give them enough metal content to be detected by my metal detector. The gold was buried in 2017 while the platinum was buried in 2018. My web site includes the burial sites where I visited or camped at during those years while planting them. (No direct mention or location, which I plan on adding eventually. I will probably make a game out of locating them)
