Sunrise on Mt Williamson and Mt Tyndall
South Lake
Because a mother/daughter/granddaughter went one way at a fork, I went the other. I decided it wasn't the way I wanted to go so I made it a short hike

I wasn't sure if I had been to South Lake or Lake Sabrina before. I usually avoid popular places with my dog. I recognized the dam at South Lake but had probably been there for a look see once.
Mt Williamson
There is a small deep forested area on the north facing slope of the North Fork of Blairs Creek on Mt Williamson that  I occasionally hike towards, getting a little farther each time. The area used to be closed during certain times of the year because of the Bighorn Zoological Area. The restrictions were rescinded in 2010.

Mazourka Canyon Road area
A 1957 Buick Century Caballero is sitting near the top of a canyon on the west side of the Snowcaps Mine. It is sitting on it's own roof which had been cut off. Must have been cut before it was rolled off the top.
