| Deadman Creek and Hawthorne Loop |

| Spent a couple days near the end of Deadman Creek Road to get out of
the heat for a while. Someone with a trailer was camped at the end of
the road where I wanted to camp for convenience of hiking towards Two
Tears and San Joaquin Mountain. Instead of moving when they pulled out
Saturday I decided to check out the Hawthorne, Nevada area which I had
never seen before. I have now been on 95 from Vegas to Hawthorne. |

| Just south of Mina on 95 one of a vanishing
breed. Brothels are only legal in Nevada in low population counties
(Illegal in Las Vegas and Reno) Many have shut down over the years |
