Lower Whitney Portal Road

First week in April and I was able to get to Onion Valley at 9200' and the Whitney Portal at 8300'. Cottonwood Lakes road was still closed, probably for rock and dirt rather than snow. Also camped at Sage Flats for the first time in years .(As usual with the Government they had closed off easy access to more of our public lands, feel free to walk where you used to drive)
