Albany 2013
My cousin John Dad in a box
Unfortunately  the reason I was back around Albany for three weeks was my father's death. He didn't make it a year after my mother died. (He died of a broken heart) His sister Inge Martinis died 10 days before he did and my Mother's last sibling Helen had died less than a year before my mother. Three funerals in three years.
Inge's headstone
Although my time back there was for a sad in-inevitable reason, I tried to see as many of my old friends as possible, since we all knew I might not be coming back to the area for quite some time, if ever. In the last two years I had lost my Aunt, Mother and Father, whom were major reasons I had gotten back that way every year for the last 5 or so. My sisters are younger than I so they should be fine for a long time yet. Besides it's their turn to visit me out west. Both have visited me in the SF Bay Area but neither has been to Ridgecrest.
