The easiest way to climb Mount Jenkins is from the Indian Wells Canyon. Take the old mining roads in Manuel Canyon then bushwhack up the ridge between Manuel and Morris Canyons until you reach the Pacific Crest Trail. Follow the trail north for a mile or so and climb the last large rock and scree chute to the top.
