Telescope Peak is a long walk on a high
ridge which offers a spectacular view down over 11,000' into Death Valley and also affords a nice view of the eastern escarpment
of the Sierra Nevada. The longest 7 Iron shot I ever made was from the summit of Telescope,
it went nearly a thousand yards before it dropped out of sight. (I don't know how far it bounced) I hiked
a round trip total of over 8 hrs to make the shot and somehow lost the club on the way back.
