California Camping 1972-
Some of the places I've camped in California over the years.
I started out around the Lake Tahoe area in the early 1970s while I was at Mare Island in the Navy.
The Yosemite area is another area whose start dates way back in my camping history. Climbed Half Dome the first time in 1972
The sequoia area probably started with climbing Mt Whitney in 1985 and flourished after I moved to Ridgecrest
The southern sierra are visible from my front door and the local deserts are great in the winter months
