| I believe it was 7th grade Linda Brown talked me into getting up on
stage in front of the school in a Archie skit. I was Jughead, my final
line was supposed to be something about broke but I used bankrupt
instead. Stage fright, forgot my lines. Thus ended my acting career. In
9th grade Bill Steffanick moved up from Ravena and we became friends.
Linda had the hots for him and wanted me to hook them up. Bill was a red
neck and when Brian Ferguson showed up with long hair he wanted to cut
it off. (We were still short haired back then in 65-66). They ended up
having a well attended fight just off school property, Bill messed him
up but after that he showed Brian a lot more respect for standing up to
him. John Tomarow also had long hair and was nicked named Ringo, but I'm
not sure if he was after Brian (Scurvey) or just in other classes.
